View All Your Tweets On One Page with AllMyTweets

Trying to find that cool URL that you posted to Twitter a few months ago? Want to easily archive all your tweets? Now you can with AllMyTweets. AllMyTweets displays all your tweets on one page. Just enter your Twitter user name. All of the data is pulled from Twitter’s public API, so no authentication is required. To archive your tweets, select all the text on the page, copy it and paste to a text document – old school style 🙂

Note that Twitter limits the maximum number of tweets returned to 3,200, so if you have more tweets than that you are out of luck. Also the Twitter API is not always completely reliable so you may find the loading hangs sometimes. If this happens, please try again later.

I built this because there I couldn’t find anything similar on the web, and I figured other people must want to be able to do the same thing. Please put any feedback in the comments. Thanks!

I’m using allmytweets for my master’s thesis in journalism, and I was wondering if there was any way -àny at all- to retrieve more than 3,200 tweets? It would be a great help.

    Kind regards,

    Leila

  2. I love this. Pity about the 3200 limit. I guess in true twitter style, they limited this on purpose 🙂

I tweeted about this, and everyone thinks it’s swell.

I made something similar to this @

    http://me.eire-media.com/design.wall

It’s called the Twitter Frontend wall. It’s made with Sweetcron, so all tweets are recorded in an SQL database – thus no limits on how many tweets you can load.

  3. Great service!
A suggestion, include link to the individual tweets! In the metadata from twitter you have a “id_str”-property which (together with the user name) is enough to create a link.

Thank you so much for making this. Best thing I ever found when I thought I had lost the chance to re-read all of my tweets from the past.

  5. yazyaz says:

    Great!
I hop there is a way to see all my tweets without RT or Replies.
that means I don’t want to see tweets starts with @ or RT
    thanks a lot.

  6. Janeisha says:

Hi Felix! This website is great, but I can’t get it to work in Internet Explorer. I would like to import the tweets in Excel, and VBA is easier to program with IE. Is there any way to get the tweets in IE9? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Best,
    Amby

  14. Amby says:

Thanks for your quick reply. 🙂

I don’t get an error, it just keeps loading and never gives me the actual tweets. When I fill in the same username in Chrome it starts loading tweets almost immediately.

I would like to know how to get all tweets even if the tweets more 10,000 .
    Best regards

AllMyTweets.net is only pulling up 106 tweets. This has been happening for at least a couple of days.

    Any suggesions?

  18. Jamie says:

Only pulls up 25 tweets. Tried this months ago and it actually worked. Doesn’t now though. Can anyone tell me an alternative source for seeing all my tweets?

  20. Alex says:

Thank you very much. Useful service, what a pity that due to limitations of Twitter you can not see all of their tweets. This is not Open Source project? Do you plan to put your project on Github?

    Hi,

    Great work,

Can I have a copy of the code?

    Thanks,

  22. Puerto says:

Is there a way to import these tweets to excel or something similar?

  23. amelia says:

I wonder if you could add a trick for reversing the display so it’s chronologically top-to-bottom, instead of the usual bottom-to-top. would that be hard?

  24. Melanie says:

Does All My Tweets bring up tweets that have been deleted? It seems to have brought up tweets that I then can’t find on the actual Twitter stream.

  25. Donald says:

allmytweets is not retrieving any tweets when the userid is entered. A comparable application called twimemachine does retrieve the tweets.

Is there something wrong with allmytweets?

    Thanks

with changing api twitter website does not work anymore! when will you fix this? use your tool every day!

  27. Allmytweets seems broken now. Perhaps because of Twitter’s new API changes?

  28. Higo Rocha says:

Não funciona mais depois da atualização da api do twitter!

  29. jacob says:

it worked perfectly for me the pass couple of days (thank you very much by the way) but now whatever I do it just keeps on spinning instead of loading tweets. If its my internet or something I’ll say later i just thought i’d say something.

  30. Sherry says:

AllMyTweets.net has not been working the past few days. I checked via Chrome, Safari, FireFox and Internet Explorer. Any suggestions? I love the app. 😉

    • Higo Rocha says:

A api 1.0 do twitter foi descontinuada, será preciso atualizar o app para a 1.1. fato que deve mudar um pouco a utilização do app, pois necessita de autenticação! Esperamos que fique pronto logo!

  31. Felix Turner says:

UPDATE – AllMyTweets is currently down for maintenance, due to Twitter changing their API. Please check back later!

  32. Felix Turner says:

UPDATE 2 – AllMyTweets is back up! I fixed it to work with Twitters new locked-down authentication system. This means you need to sign in via twitter in order to view your tweets. But it does avoid you having to type in your user name 🙂 Let me know how the new version is working out for you.

    • Danijel says:

I’m disspaointed, is there no way to list the tweets of some username X. I used this tool to do analysis of news twitter streams for my bachelor thesis but now that feature is gone. 🙁

    • Steve M says:

Site works fine after the update, but you’ve removed the main feature that I used the site for: viewing other user’s tweets. Can that function be added again or is this removal a result of Twitter changing the API?

    • Bruh Bruh Bruh says:

please put back the username search, I don’t want to be limited to just viewing my tweets. I used it mainly for others rather than myself.

  33. qaosm says:

    this update is not good
we need the old one please without the authentication system

    thanx

  34. tim says:

the only reason I used this was to see others tweets, or fine funny tweets from a while back from OTHER people which i cant do now. Shame.

  35. jacob says:

there are many sites that let you see your own tweets but this one was unique as you could see others and thats why i used it. please fix this

  36. andrew says:

really missing the feature that would let you view other user’s tweets!

  37. Felix Turner says:

UPDATE 3 – OK I heard the people and responded! You can now view your own AND other’s tweets (again). FYI – the Authorization button is a requirement of the new Twitter API – no way around it.

  38. Ed. says:

Felix, thank you so much for the update. When it stopped working to retrieve other accounts’ tweets I freaked out, hahaha. Cheers!

  39. Felix Turner says:

UPDATE 4 – fixed the need to sign in every time. You are welcome! 🙂

  40. Hanan says:

    allmytweet is really very helpful.

  41. Kirthi Raman says:

We were trying to keep company tweets handled separately. We did succeed in doing something similar, but it limits to 200 tweets. Do you suggest a particular way to get 3200?

  42. Justyna Głogowska says:

That would be cool to see only replies or RT.

  43. Can you share code for this?

  44. Kisty Mea says:

I hope there’s a way to also view all of your faved tweets on one page. I don’t know if that’s possible with the Twitter API but that’s going to be so helpful especially when I faved at least 1700 tweets since 2010!
