Postcard Viewer

The quest for the perfect image viewer continues! Check out PostcardViewer.

This one is just for fun. It’s very simple: no preloaders, no thumbnails. PostcardViewer is based on a real world metaphor: a set of postcards shuffled onto a surface. If you would like to use it with your own images, instructions are here.

I was just wondering if you have a way of disabling making the poeple click on the postcardview gallery before it shows them images. Thanks.

I was using JAlbum with the Bananalbum skin for my photo gallery. Now I really would like to switch to Postcard Viewer… I love the simplicity of this presentation. Is there any chance you could make the colorsettings within the .swf editable by the ‘webmaster’ so I can have custom colors instead of black?

    great work! always funny

@enter.nu: you can edit the color in the file index.html (3 times) ..and.. nice baby 😉 look at http://home.schickard.de/postcard/

Can you take a look at this gallery and tell me why it keeps throwing one of the images off the bottom of the page and leaving a blank space up top? I have viewed it on multiple computers and I get the same result. Could it be a browser issue? I am using Firefox.

    Thanks!

Well i think this is fantastic bar one thing. No matter how hard I try i canot get my page to display an up to date set of pics. I have deleted the browser cache, offline files etc.. even changed the name of viewer.swf and the references to it in index.html to no avail.

I have looked everywhere for a solution to this and cannot find one. Shame as if i could get it working i’d have probably paid for the full version 🙁

My question is simple (I hope).

I would like to customize the interface with a background image/pattern so that the postcard gallery would fit better with the look and feel of the site I plan to use it on. Is this kind of customizing possible if I buy the code?

How to have this on transparent background?
